Honestly, it's the best thing we do. Now you can signup whenever you want, for half the price as before.

Tl;dr: Registration for our on-demand Lean Leaders™ certification program is now live! To sign up, go straight to the registration page here. To
talk about organizing training for your team, put some time on our calendar. To get the deets, read on!
If you're new around here, you might not know that PPI's Lean Leaders™ Certification is our flagship professional development program: It's where we not only teach rising stars the ins and outs of process improvement, but we also walk alongside them as they implement meaningful change in their organization.
We've offered Lean Leaders™ Certification in some form for nearly a decade, but now we're thrilled to announce that for the first time it's available on demand: anyone can sign up and start their improvement journey anytime.
I explained the why of this change back in December, but in short, Lean Leaders™ on demands let us:
Train anyone, anytime, whenever they're ready
Spend our time in 1-1 coaching with you on your problem, rather than just repeating content delivery
Make the cohort available at less than half the price
All that makes Lean Leaders more accessible than it's ever been.
Not only that, but we've taken the opportunity to thoroughly revise every module and add new content -- it's the best Lean Leaders™ has ever been.
What do I get?
For starters, there's everything we've always offered for Lean Leaders™ Certification:
A proved problem-solving framework, designed specifically for government, that's helped hundreds of other public servants transform public services, advance their careers, and make a difference
40 total hours of content, including training modules, exercises, application to your work, and coaching time
5 hours of 1-1 coaching with a PPI process improvement expert
A black-belt equivalent certification that doesn't require a renewal fee

Plus we've added lots of new content and features:
New modules covering additional tools, plus updated content throughout
A half dozen new reference guides and templates (I'm particularly proud of the Data Development Plan)
Pre-approval for Credentialed Government Leader credit for MMANC/MMASC members
Ability to work at your own pace, but with accountability to get it done
Badge for your LinkedIn profile
Check out the registration page for info on curriculum, trainers, coaches, and more.
Streamlined pricing
We practice what we preach around here, and that includes incorporating feedback from the agencies we serve. We heard our pricing was confusing, so we simplified it: The Lean Leaders™ Certification Program costs $2199. Full stop.
Our live version of Lean Leaders™ was cost prohibitive for individual staff, and we really wanted to make it accessible to anyone in government who's committed to innovation and growth. This price is less than most comparable leadership development programs and less than half what we charged for our live version.
If you're looking to enroll a whole team, group discounts are available. If that's you, drop a meeting on our calendar and let's talk.
What's next?
Now that Lean Leaders™ is live, here's what's on deck:
As always, we'll be making iterative improvement to Lean Leaders™ -- thanks to our MMANC pilot trainees who are our guinea pigs finding and eliminating bugs.
Lean 101, our introductory process improvement course, will go live on-demand soon. We'll continue to offer Lean 101 classes as an in-person offering by request. Stay tuned for more details on pricing and registration.
We're planning to stand up a network of Lean Leaders™ alumni who can share stories and best practices and create peer-to-peer support for innovation and change in their agencies. We have some really amazing alumni! If you're a Lean Leader alum and want to help with this effort, let us know!
Down the road, we'll look into expanding the online training offerings further: Getting Things Done, Behavioral Insights, and Lean for Execs are all obvious next steps. If your organization is excited about one of these (or a new course?), let's talk about sponsorship options.
What are you waiting for?!
I started to write a section called "Why Lean Leaders™ is the best thing we do," but it was becoming so long, I decided it deserved its own blog post. But spoiler alert: It's because of you.
It's our core belief at PPI that public services are transformed by passionate, talented, creative public servants. Like you.
So come join us!
If you pay by card, you can enroll and start right now! If your agency is sponsoring you, there's also an option to have them pay by invoice.
If you're a manager, and want this capacity for your whole team, schedule some time with us: We'd love to talk strategy with you.
